OUR MINISTRIES

DEVOTIONALS & PRAYER WITH THE ARMED FORCES, POLICE & CIVIL SERVANTS

Together, we minister on a weekly basis to these men and women, showing them how the teachings of the bible are relevant to their personal and professional lives while highlighting their need for Jesus in order to be in a right relationship with God.

We believe that effecting change through the lives and behaviour transformed by the Word of the Lord in those who hold high authority within society will eventually affect the public positively.

Many of them are on rotation nationwide, transferred as needed to the capital or to other provinces and towns,  so while we minister to the same groups, the individuals are not always the same people.

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

We also minister the Word of God on different occasions when invited by churches to speak.

It is always an honour and a joy to be able to preach His Word and it is a privilege we do not take lightly.

CONFERENCES

Time and time again, we see how expectations, choices, and ideals based on societal and cultural norms form the building blocks of marriages leading to larger problems much later.

So, we felt a need to put together specific topics to minister to those who are single, in relationships, and/or newly marrieds.

By targeting this demographic, we aim to prevent or minimize those problems by helping them understand the biblical perspective of marriage while they are still single, or while they are newly married before bad or damaging habits can take root.

CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLE COACHES & ADVISORS

We also help individuals and couples overcome obstacles in their personal lives and marriages.

Sessions are either done in person, or through the various technological platforms available.

We both have a diploma in Family Counseling through a local university, a  Life Coaching certificate through a U.S. academy,  and a diploma in Christian Leadership and Family.  Adeline also uses her degree in Sociology for this area of our work to better understand cultural and societal perspectives.

THE ELDERLY WIDOW

We met "A", an elderly widow,  years ago in a hospital and we have been visiting her to share the Word and pray, as well as helping her with some basic needs.

CHAPLAINCY

Duplicating what we do with the government agencies and armed forces by promoting it through churches and having workshops throughout the province. To read more, click the subheading below the "Ministry" tab.

Culture and God's Word

In a nation whose official religion is Catholicism, and many are automatically categorized as Catholics by way of their nationality, there is a belief that by birth, they are in a right standing with God.  This is both an advantage and a disadvantage to sharing the Gospel, the advantage being that there is a general respect for God and the Bible, while the disadvantage is they do not necessarily believe there is a  need for them to make a personal decision to accept and follow Jesus as Lord and Saviour. We simply show them what the bible says, that we all need to be justified by faith through grace so we can be considered sons and daughters of the true and living God, and if they consider themselves to be in right standing with God, the way they live should demonstrate obedience to the Bible. None of us were born to be in right standing with God, all of us have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. To be in right standing with God, we need to be reconciled to Him through His Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for us and it is by believing in  Him as Lord and Savour personally that puts us in right standing with God the Father.

Every moment we share the Word can be likened to a drop of water into the souls of those who listen. Drop by drop is what we do on a consistent basis. We present Jesus to those who do not know Him while helping those who do understand what it means to walk in His freedom, leaving the Holy Spirit to work on convicting, transforming, and healing. While it may be difficult to not always be able to share positive results of how many people have decided to follow the Lord, we know our responsibility is to consistently show up and offer living water to these, and pray for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives.  For it is only by the power of the Holy Spirit that true transformation can occur.

We have also noticed that unless there is a mindset transformation through God's Word, there will not be any behavioural change.  As human beings, our perception of the world comes through what we have learned through our parents, society, our friends,  our environment, as well as through what we absorb through the media, and while this perception is not always aligned with the Word of God, many, even Christians, adhere to them because using culture excuses people from being accountable for their actions, especially in the area of marriage and family. This is why we also focus on ministering to singles and couples through counseling and conferences.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. " ~ Romans 12:2
